Father's Day

One day, a man wore a shirt that said, "I am not the father who stepped in; I am the father who stepped up." This father did not just receive the children; the children received him.

Do we accept God this way? Isn't it worth accepting God most truly and fully, just as He receives us?

Malachi 4.5

Do you look out of the window more than in the mirror?

God is interested in the leadership of the home. Primarily the leadership of the father. Forsaking the ways of the world and government regarding fatherhood, why not fall down on our knees, seeking God's direction? We must take responsibility for the condition of our families.

Even though many have had a bad experience with an earthly father, there is a Father in heaven who is close and someone who can live in your heart.

Note: It's alright to have boomerang kids as long as they eventually get it right. We have a promise in Malachi that the children will turn to their parents and the parents to the children.

Remember, some people do not say the words 'I love you', but they show it. They demonstrate love. It's not what they say but what they do.

Jn. 15.9-10 - God says we must love one another just as Christ loves us.

I have loved you just as the Father has loved Me; remain in My love [and do not doubt My love for you]. 10 If you keep My commandments and obey My teaching, you will remain in My love, just as I have kept My Father’s commandments and remain in His love.
