The Responsibility of Fatherhood. You are called to be a leader. May you be celebrated on Father's Day.

Everyone wants to be a great leader, but we cannot until we have learned to be a good follower. It will help you to lead your family and children. Learning how to follow will help you learn how to lead. Jesus submitted during his time of trial using wisdom and staying aligned with the Father. Keep your eyes fixed on the heavenly Father. Learn to look up for guidance and direction. We have to learn to lead the way God leads us.

John 5:19-20

Fatherhood is not just a role; it is a calling. It is a divine assignment. Once you become a father, you are equipped with everything you need to succeed. Look to God for guidance. Make time what is most important, providing spiritual guidance and training your children.

A father's greatest legacy is not what he leaves his children, but what he deposits into his children. If the enemy can get the father out of the way, then he will be left open to compromise the child. The enemy seeks to destroy the father-child relationship, for it may impact the child's relationship with God the Father.

A father in the family has a significant impact on the child's physical, emotional, and spiritual development. Masculinity is important. Fathers are needed. A mother and father together create the right environment for the child.

Single fathers, God can fill in the gaps. Being present is not enough. Learn to lead by watching our heavenly Father. Do not be present, but absent. Do not disconnect from your family. Do not make your phone or work your priority.

Serve your family. Learn to make investments in what really matters. Stay with it when times get hard. Do not jump ship. Partner with older fathers to glean from their experiences. Submit and listen. Fathers reflect God's mercy, love, and grace to their children. The earthly father is a representative of the heavenly Father.

Only God can give us revelation about our children. God is here to help. God will watch and help us in our divine assignment as a father. You are called to stand in the gap for your children and home.

Ezekiel 22:30

God was looking for one man to stand in the gap. Are you that man? Are you willing to stand for your family? You are to stand on guard against the enemy. You have to stand as a deterrent to the kingdom of darkness. Will you commit?
