The Relationship Between Faith & Grace
Faith is taking action while trusting in Him. It's essential to embrace God's grace and remind each other of our identity in Him. You have been saved by grace. Grace has opened the door and made an invitation. Remember, grace is not dependent on you; it is rooted in God.
We must learn to extend grace to difficult individuals. Grace is a gift from God and cannot be earned through our own efforts. It comes first, allowing faith to follow closely behind. Faith is not just something we possess; it is an action. Faith moves and communicates, and it can be either positive or negative. It represents a strong conviction that leads to action. We acquire faith by trusting in Him.
We trust God to love everyone without discrimination. Through His grace, we can offer grace to those in need. Withholding grace does not reflect the character of the Father. We desire grace in our ability to forgive and to be generous. This grace empowers us to follow God's will.
Grace is not an excuse to sin. Instead, we should seek God's grace to help us overcome sin. When you give or share, consider your motivation: Are you doing it to show off, or to reflect God's grace through your actions? There is a blessing in operating from a place of grace without measuring how much grace you should extend. Allow God to guide you on how and whom to bless. View your actions as an investment in the possibilities of God's kingdom. Focus on representing His kingdom and planting seeds for the future. Ask God to help you express generosity.
Faith is God’s riches at Christ’s expense. We must appropriate the God life through faith. We are called to live a life of faith. You do not belong to yourself. You have grace to live rightly. Just live right.
Ask God to relieve you of everything that hinders you from following Him with your whole heart.
