The Messiah
The problem with nations is the lack of righteousness. How do we receive righteousness? It is accepted when God grants it to us, the King of Righteousness. Fairness and equity cannot be possible without righteousness. Rituals cannot save us, only the Lamb can.

The Passover Lamb (Genesis 12:1-11)
12 The Lord said to Moses and Aaron in the land of Egypt, 2 “This [a]month shall be the beginning of months to you; it is to be the first month of the year to you. 3 Tell all the congregation of Israel, ‘On the tenth [day] of this month they are to take a lamb or young goat for themselves... without blemish or bodily defect, a male a year old; you may take it from the sheep or the goats. 6 You shall keep it until the fourteenth day of the same month, then the whole assembly of the congregation of Israel is to slaughter it [b]at twilight. 7 Moreover, they shall take some of the blood and put it on the two doorposts and the lintel [above the door] of the houses in which they eat it. 8 They shall eat the meat that same night, roasted in fire, and they shall eat it with unleavened bread and bitter herbs. 9 Do not eat any of it raw or boiled in water, but roasted in fire—both its head and its legs, along with its inner parts. .... it is the Lord’s Passover.
Types and shadows of the Old Testament looked forward to Christ. Today we look backward to Christ the fulfillment of Messianic prophecy and forward to future prophecies.
Holy Week consists of:
Day 1 - Fig Monday. It was the Monday that Jesus cursed the fig tree. It taught us about the unfruitfulness of people called to be fruitful. Understand that He cursed the tree and not the people.
Day 2 - Holy Tuesday
Day 3 - Turncoat Wednesday or Spy Wednesday - This is the day Judas Iscariot betrayed Jesus. He followed Jesus for two and a half years and decided that he no longer wanted to follow HIM. What made him doubt? Was it hard times, uncertainty, unanswered prayer? What is it that begins to turn one's heart from Jesus to the point of betraying Him?
Practice peace and let your angels fight your battles. Stay faithful. We do not know why GOD loves us, but aren't we glad He does?
