The Kingdom: Don't Just Talk About It, Be About It

Jesus takes this particular announcement in this Scripture to translate the kingdom from heaven to earth. God is developing His representatives to carry out His will on earth. It is the church. God says He will give us the keys of the kingdom. Not the keys to the kingdom.

Jesus says he will give you the keys to the lock. We will have everything we need. We just need to seek the kingdom first. Have you been seeking the kingdom as your priority? Darkness can hinder our search for God’s will. Luke 1.79 Light is knowledge. Darkness is ignorance (lack of knowledge; not knowing)

Hosea 4.6 - Lacking knowledge can become generational.

Jesus is the light of the world. With God’s knowledge, the enemy cannot stop us. God has given us authority to rule and reign over the earth. We must cast off the works of darkness (Romans 13.12).

I Peter 2.9, Ephesians 6.12

There are spiritual rules designed to take over the world and rule over this world. Mankind is the only ones who have authority over the world. Those spiritual authorities rule in darkness or by taking advantage of man’s lack of knowledge. We have been fooled into not living according to our position.

The enemy uses religion to disrupt the works of the kingdom.

We must understand the kingdom message. It is God’s guidance to the citizens of the kingdom. When you understand your authority, it can change everything.

Matthew. 13.1-23;

We are destined to know the mysteries of the kingdom when we seek the kingdom. Your knowledge will increase piece by piece.

Examples of kingdom operation:

* Luke 9.1-2. - Disciples have been given power and authority over all devils and can cure diseases. Preach the kingdom. Put it into operation.

* Luke 10 - Jesus sent the 70 disciples out into the countryside. They were amazed that they were able to demonstrate what they were taught.

* Feeding the 5,000

* Peter walking on water (Physics gets suspended by the kingdom.)

* Jesus is asleep on a ship, and a storm comes up. He speaks “peace be still”.

* Casting out devils

There is a concept of the kingdom that is very important. knowledge (information), understanding, and wisdom.

When you have knowledge, you can move on to understanding or comprehension. You have a grasp of the concept. Wisdom (application). Wisdom only happens when you apply the knowledge and understanding that you have gained. All three work together: knowledge, understanding, and comprehension. Proverbs 4.7.
