Growing in Christ

Let your defenses down because you have been hurt. Let it down. Look back into your history, and you will see that it is a recurring situation. This comes from your enemy, the devil. When we resist him, we will be able to take control. Make up your mind that it will no longer work. If you have to partner with someone to defeat it, then do that.

Let your defenses down. Give it to God. Give him the anger and depression. You are a believer, but may not have enough faith to forgive. God values the amount of forgiveness you extend, because it is not about the other person; it is about you. Do not be stubborn. Have you been told this before? What are you waiting for? Are you willing to cut your life short because of an ailment stemming from forgiveness?

1 Thessalonians 5:12

* We are in Christ, but we do not readily realize who we are and what we can do.

* We need wisdom to go along with the knowledge we have.

* It makes a difference what house of God you join. Join not out of competition, but out of what you need and where God wants to place you.

* If you are going to be an overt Jesus follower, you will be controversial. You have to be fluent in the things of God. We have to grow up and increase our Christian education.

* We have to say that we are not just saved, but we are saved and healed.

* We cannot be ignorant of Satan's devices nor be ignorant of God's plans.

* Do not go to some Church to be happy but not be challenged in the Spirit.

* The outside (your actions) confirms what is going on in the inside (how and what you think).

* Your Father is the king; are you acting like it?
