God Is Doing A New Thing. So Should You.
The number 8 is the number of new beginnings. What God did in yesteryear is done and will not be repeated. In this Scripture, God is bringing Israel back together. He is bringing about reconciliation.
When God brings us out, we will come out with riches. No longer in bondage. He encourages us not to remember our past circumstances. The enemy you see today will not be present anymore. Your past will try to track you down, but we have the will and power to reject it and proceed with God. Today, your past is covered. Do not look back. Do not go back. God covers.
Do not remember the former things. To remember is to bring back together memories. God is doing a new thing. What He will do now will not compare to what He has done in the past.
Philippians 3:10-14
God is doing a new thing, so should you.
Some things to consider:
1. Do something that goes against culture. The Kingdom should influence culture. Stay faithful to the Word.
2. Do something that makes people wonder.
3. Do something so big that it provokes God to move.
4. Do something that will cost you. Sacrifice. Our relationship with God is not a relationship of convenience. You are a living sacrifice. If you have a heart to sacrifice, God will make the provision.
God is making a way in your wilderness and providing an endless supply. God will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory. He is calling for His people to take it to another level. Our relationship with Him should not be casual. He is calling for us to do a new thing. To come a little closer.
