The Pulpit Ministry: "Barak" = Blessing

Jul 5, 2026    Apostle Anthony Wallace

Experience the old way so that you can rest.

You did not get saved to stay in the same place.

God gives us the grace to accept the truth.

Nehemiah 8

The only time that the pulpit is mentioned in the Scriptures is in Nehemiah 8:1-6.

Barak - to bless

Ezra blessed the Lord, the Great God. We have to bring our vocabulary back in line. Bless the Lord means to trust in God. It pleases Him. In the reading of the Scriptures in the Book of Nehemiah, the people listened and then worshipped God for His Words of instruction and wisdom.

Is Jesus the better life or the best life? He is both. Jesus can save us from self-inflicted wounds. He will give you instructions. Do not have a life of uncorrected errors. Jesus is a developer and Lord. He knows you and knows what is needed to heal you.

Do not talk big but live small. Go back to the ancient path. We must tighten up our walk. If we have to represent well. We must not just be born again; we have to get to know Him and genuinely walk with Him. God cares about your fruitfulness.

What is your life service? It does not always have to be in the pulpit; your work can be outside the church walls. Remember, we cannot go out among others looking like a hot mess.

Jesus can heal you everywhere you hurt. Do not let pride stop you. The pulput is designed to pull you out of stinking thinking, sin. Our training is for tomorrow. It's for the opposition we will face as we walk through life.
